About the artist:
I'm Alicia Ambroso, mom, wife, and photographer/owner of Alicia Ambroso Photography.
My background in photography includes many years of candid portraiture of children (my children are my favorite subjects), pets, and families.
After spending years working with different photography styles, I knew that candid portraiture was a better fit with my personality. I believe that most people photograph better in their native environment, rather than being stiffly and uncomfortably posed in a studio setting--this is particularly true with expectant mothers, small children, and families. I have a particular passion for working with families with special needs members.
I also enjoy being able to travel to those special locations that have significance to people, whether it be their home, family farm, neighborhood park, or other special locations. And I enjoy creating photographic memories that are timeless and intimate, but more importantly, unique.
